TVPN features

How each part of TVPN works, where to find it in the app and which plan includes it.

How the features work together

What every plan has, and what Plus and Pro add

Basic already covers the parts that protect your connection: all servers, WireGuard, OpenVPN and IKEv2, the kill switch, split tunneling, TVPN's own DNS and no logs. There are no data caps or speed limits on any plan.

Plus adds ad and tracker blocking, malicious site blocking and Double VPN, which sends your traffic through two servers. Pro adds a dedicated IP and priority support on top of that. The higher plans also allow more devices at once: 6 on Basic, 10 on Plus and 12 on Pro.

Settings we suggest for most people

Leave the protocol on WireGuard and keep the kill switch on. With that setup, your real IP stays hidden even if the connection drops for a moment.

Turn on split tunneling only when you need it. Some banking apps or local services refuse VPN connections, and you can let those apps use your normal connection while everything else stays on the VPN. Double VPN is useful on networks you do not trust, but it is slower, so switch it off when you do not need it.

Questions

Is Basic enough for me?

If you mainly want an encrypted connection on public Wi-Fi and access to servers in other countries, yes. Basic has the same servers, protocols, kill switch and no-logs setup as the other plans. Choose Plus if you want ad and tracker blocking, or if you need more than 6 devices.

Can I use split tunneling and the kill switch together?

Yes. The kill switch protects the apps that go through the VPN. Apps you exclude with split tunneling use your normal connection, so they keep working if the VPN drops.

Does ad blocking work in every app?

It works at the DNS level while you are connected, so it applies to browsers and apps on that device. Some ads are served from the same address as the content itself, and those cannot be blocked this way.

When should I use Double VPN?

When you want an extra layer, for example on a network you do not trust. Your traffic passes through two TVPN servers, which makes it harder to trace but adds delay. For streaming or games, a single server is usually the better choice.
