What we do not record
TVPN does not keep a record of the websites you visit or the content of your traffic. DNS queries sent through our servers are not logged either.
We also do not store the original IP address you connect from or the time you connected and disconnected. Without those, there is nothing that ties a session on our servers back to you.
- Websites and apps you use
- Traffic content
- DNS queries
- Your original IP address
- Connection and disconnection times
What we do keep
To run an account, we keep your email address and a hash of your password, never the password itself. We also keep your payment records and the start and end dates of your plan.
Each plan allows a set number of devices at once, so the server keeps a simple marker for each active connection. The marker is removed when the connection ends and does not include your IP or activity.
Less data from the start
Sign-up asks only for an email and a password. We do not ask for your name or phone number, and we do not send verification or marketing emails.
Payments are made from a prepaid balance that you top up with cryptocurrency through PayGate. There are no card or PayPal details on file with us.
What a no-logs VPN cannot do
A VPN hides your traffic from your network and your internet provider. It does not make you anonymous to services you sign in to. If you log in to an account, that service still knows it is you.
Browser cookies and tracking scripts also work inside the VPN tunnel. Plus and Pro include an ad and tracker blocker that helps with part of this, but your browser settings still matter.
